The likes of West Ham, Chelsea and Tottenham are all in for an out-of-favour Roma stopper, but the Italian’s are likely to demand a hefty €40million to sanction the sale.

According to a report via Football Italia, goalkeeper Pau Lopez is attracting the attention of some of England’s elite Premier League clubs, with Tottenham reportedly in the driving seat, having already had Lopez on the books back in 2016/17.

Lopez is said to be unfancined at the Italian capital giants and they’re ready to cash-in and profit on the €23.5m they paid just last summer.

Whether any of the three named Premier League clubs would deem Lopez’s €40m price remains to be seen, considering it would be almost a doubling of his value in a year, as well as the financial restraints surrounding football as a whole, heading into the transfer window.

The now 25-year-old never made a single Premier League appearance for Tottenham, but has been regular for the likes of Roma, Real Betis and Espanyol.
