West Ham shut down Celtic offer and demand a ‘significant fee’ for winger
West Ham United are demanding a ‘significant fee’ if they are going to entertain an offer from Scottish champions Celtic for winger Robert Snodgrass – according to the Sky Sports Transfer Centre.
The 33-year-old Scottish international is Glasgow-born and having struggled to break into the Hammers line-up as of late, would likely welcome the chance to return ‘home’.
West Ham though have rejected Cetlic’s initial loan offer, instead wanting a permanent transfer for the winger.
The idea of bringing Snodgrass to Glasgow though is seemingly cooling according to the report, with Celtic now looking at other more affordable options.
