West Ham frustrated by Joshua King chase and look to 17-goal alternative
West Ham United are reportedly growing tired of chasing Bournemouth’s Joshua King before Friday’s domestic transfer deadline, and may switch attention to Brentford’s Said Benrahma – according to BBC Sport.
Said Benrahma scored 17 goals last season, guiding Brentford to the play-off final.
Joshua King was reportedly subject of a failed £13million bid by West Ham in the last few days, but Bournemouth are holding out for more for their 28-year-old Norwegian international.
The alternative of Said Benrahma will surely be welcomed by Hammers fans, with the 25-year-old Algerian exciting in the Championship and stood out with two goals against Fulham in this season’s League Cup.
