West Ham face competition from Juventus for veteran Shandong Luneng star
Premier League high-flyers West Ham are facing pressure from Italian champions Juventus, as both clubs eye the same striker who is available from Chinese side Shandong Luneng.
Former Southampton and current Shandong Luneng star Graziano Pelle, now 35, will see his contract run down this year and due to new wage cap rules in China, is certainly looking towards a return to European football.
Since moving to the Chinese Super League from the Premier League, Pelle has scored 51, with 21 assists in 101 appearances.
For a budget option, as cover, the move for either club would make sense albeit a very short term move considering the former Italian international will be 36 come July.
AC Milan and Inter Milan have also been offered the chance to sign Graziano Pelle, according to a report in Goal.
