West Ham battle to convince £35m striker who wants to join ‘top-six side’
West Ham United are facing a major uphill task to convince their latest striker transfer target to pick east London over a move to an ‘established top-six side’.
The player in question is Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard, who is valued by the Scottish champions at around £35million – the Frenchman was bought for £10million.
The report in the Star states that 23-year-old Edouard wants a move to a ‘top-six’ Premier League club.
Arsenal and Tottenham are named as clubs monitoring the striker, but neither will make advances until the summer – West Ham would be prepared to move this month.
