West Brom ‘huge admirers’ of midfielder but want to pay less than £10m to sign him

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly biding their time in turning Filip Krovinovic’s loan-deal into a permanent one, with a report in the Express and Star stating there’s no option to buy in the agreement.

The Croatian midfielder is on-loan from Benfica and while there’s no set fee in-place, the Portuguese giants are willing to sell for around £10 million, but the Baggies want to pay less.

Manager Slavan Bilic is a ‘huge admirer’ of his countryman and Filip Krovinovic is seen as an ideal addition should West Brom go on to seal promotion to the Premier League, once the season is restarted.

The 24-year-old has so far played 34 games for West Brom, scoring twice and assisting four times.
