Wales and Man Utd winger Daniel James targeted by surprise rival club
Having scored midweek for his country, Daniel James has seen his stock rise, despite a relatively average start to the season for United – a report claims a Premier League rival is keen on the 23-year-old.
Everton are considering a swoop for James in the January transfer window, according to Football Insider, with the Toffees looking for reinforcements.
However, this may not be a transfer, with the report suggesting a loan may benefit both parties – United would want James to be getting regular game-time, and Everton wouldn’t want to part with a big chunk of cash in the new year.
Richarlison’s recent absence for Everton has highlighted the need for pace and a game-changing back-up option and Daniel James could very well be that player.
