Two surprise Premier League managers on nine-man PSG shortlist

Paris St-Germain’s manager Mauricio Pochettino appears to be on borrowed time with the French giants out of the Champions League, the main prize for the club’s owners.

With expected domestic success the only route to silverware for Pochettino, it’s assumed the manager and club will part ways in the summer, which in-turn has led to plenty of speculation as to who could be entrusted with the reigns next season.

According to a report via French source L’Equipe, two Premier League bosses are on a nine-man shortlist – Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta and Tottenham’s Antonio Conte.

Conte’s patience at Spurs may be tested should the club fail to back him this summer and whether or not there’s European qualification. For Arteta a departure looks unlikely, with the former midfielder on track to return Arenal to the Champions League.
