Tottenham make eleventh-hour £18million bid for Championship defender
With just a few hours remaining Tottenham are being classic Tottenham and making late moves to bring in a defender who hasn’t been linked to the club prior to today.
According to a report via Sky Sports Transfer Centre, Spurs have made moves to sign Joe Rodon from Swansea City.
The defender has been linked to a big Premier League for a number of months, and with Spurs in need of a new defender, the Welsh international fits the bill.
A bid of around £18million is now being considered, for a player who is arguably Swansea’s best player.
