Tottenham and Man City quoted £70million to sign 10-goal striker
Fiorentina’s Serbian star striker Dusan Vlahovic has become a hot commodity ahead of the next transfer window, and the Italian club have decided that £70million will be the magic number, if they are to sell – according to the Sun.
Antonio Conte apparently wants a second proven goalscorer to join Harry Kane up-front and the 21-year-old Serb is said to be high on his shortlist – £70m though could prove to be a stumbling block.
Manchester City have predominantly played this season without a recognised striker in the number nine role, with Jesus playing out-wide. Vlahovic could be a good fit, but would the price-tag eat too much into their budget ahead of another move next year for Harry Kane or potentially Erling Haaland at Dortmund.
Vlahovic has discord 10 this season in all competitions, following on from his haul of 21 last season.
