There’s reportedly ‘no intention’ for England international to join Wolves

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been busy in transfer dealings over the weekend, losing Jota to Liverpool and seeing Ki-Jana Hoever arrive from the opposite direction.

However, according to the Mirror, there’s ‘no intention’ for Liverpool to now sell Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Wolves, despite the England international being strongly linked to a Midlands move.

The 27-year-old’s gametime is likely to be affected by the arrival of Thiago from Bayern Munich, but with games coming thick and fast, the midfielder is apparently happy to stay and get in the squad when given the chance.

Oxlade-Chamberlain made 30 appearances in the Premier League, lifting his first ever title, and with goals as part of his game, Jurgen Klopp is likely to view the England man as an important option.
