Solskjaer eyes Sancho deal but Man Utd players lobby for alternative

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his own players are of differing opinion on who should be signed this summer, with the boss eyeing up a deal for Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.

According to the Telegraph, United’s players are keen to see Aston Villa’s star man Jack Grealish sign as an alternative, with the England man proving to be a pivotal driving force for the Midlands clubs.

Sancho is reportedly available this summer with Dortmund happy to cash-in for the right price. Grealish on the other hand is unlikely to be available and if Villa are to entertain any bids they’d be likely in the same price as Sancho – towards the £100m mark.

Grealish, 25, has missed many weeks of the season to injury but has pushed for full fitness in the final games ahead of the Euros, scoring seven goals and assisting 12.

Sancho has an impressive haul of 16 goals and 21 assists this season for Dortmund in 38 games.
