Brenner went to Udinese from FC Cincinnati back in July 2023 which was a big deal for him. Since he got to Serie A, the Brazilian forward has been doing okay but hasn’t really shown everything he can do yet. This season he’s played in 9 Serie A games and scored once plus he played twice in the Italy Cup where he got another goal. He can play as a second striker and sometimes on the left wing too which shows he’s pretty flexible.
Brenner’s Career Path
Before Italy, Brenner did really good at FC Cincinnati and got noticed by scouts from Europe. Udinese paid like €8 million for him which shows what they thought he was worth. The way Brenner’s career has gone shows how more MLS players are heading to European clubs nowadays which is pretty cool for the league.
Future Prospects and Transfer Dynamics
Maybe Brenner going back to MLS with teams like Columbus Crew is just part of what’s happening in transfers right now. All these MLS teams wanting him shows how crazy the transfer market is. Everyone in football is watching to see if he’ll end up back in MLS.
