USMNT Players Shine in Champions League Action

USMNT players Weston McKennie, Timothy Weah, Folarin Balogun and Yunus Musah showed what they can do in the recent Champions League matches. McKennie and Weah played complete matches while Balogun helped Monaco get a draw. Musah didn’t play at all in Atalanta’s game with Slavia Prague.

Weston McKennie’s Performance in Madrid

Weston McKennie played the whole match in Juventus’ 1-0 loss to Real Madrid and got a 6.6 FotMob rating. Even though they lost McKennie really showed up in midfield and proved how important he is for Juventus. The American player who came to Juventus in 2021 is thinking about going to MLS in 2026. Timothy Weah’s Efforts in Lisbon

Timothy Weah played for 67 minutes when Olympique Marseille lost 2-1 to Sporting Lisbon getting a 6.4 FotMob rating. Weah who’s on loan from Juventus is really important for Marseille while they celebrate being 125 years old. Even with the loss Weah did pretty good in their European game. Folarin Balogun and Yunus Musah’s Journeys

Folarin Balogun got a 6.7 FotMob rating and played 83 minutes when AS Monaco tied 0-0 with Tottenham. After doing real good at Reims Balogun came back and made Monaco’s attack better. The team needs him to score and make chances in both Ligue 1 and Europe.

Yunus Musah didn’t play at all when Atalanta tied with Slavia Prague. He’s on loan from AC Milan and still trying to get used to things at Atalanta.
