Christian Pulisic’s Impact at AC Milan
Christian Pulisic has been killing it at AC Milan this season. He even got Serie A Player of the Month for September 2025 scoring four goals and getting two assists. Pulisic is super important for AC Milan trying to get a Champions League spot. But him maybe not playing for USMNT is kinda worrying.

Contributions of Zendejas and Robinson
Alex Zendejas has been doing real good for Club América, playing great in Liga MX with four goals and two assists lately. Antonee Robinson who’s really important for Fulham‘s defense, just got back to USMNT after being hurt for a while. The team really needs his defense skills and the way he helps on offense. If they can’t play it’s gonna be hard for Pochettino to figure out what to do.
Pochettino’s Tactical Adjustments
Since Mauricio Pochettino started coaching the USMNT, they’ve been playing this style where they press high and attack a lot. Not knowing if Pulisic Zendejas and Robinson can play is making things complicated. Pochettino likes to not talk much between camps but now he’s gotta deal with this while getting ready for October training camp and the games against Ecuador and Australia.
Not having these important players could really hurt how the team plays, and shows how Pochettino needs to be able to change his plans when things go wrong.
