Juventus could be looking to trim the significant wage bill they are currently having to work with and Ronaldo could be the first-in-line to exit next summer – as reported in the Daily Mail.

One club keen to swoop, should Ronaldo be put up for sale is Paris St-Germain.

PSG’s club chief Leonardo was quoted via a French interview, and quoted in the Mail saying that something ‘unforeseen can happen’ in the transfer market;

‘Today in football we do not know what will happen.’

‘Maybe tomorrow Cristiano Ronaldo wakes up and says I want to go play elsewhere.’

‘Who can buy him? It’s a closed circle. PSG enters this circle. Usually it is about opportunities, situations.’

‘The transfer window, we have to prepare for it and that’s what we do. We have our priorities, our lists, but something unforeseen can happen.’

Ronaldo is reportedly on annual wages of £28million with Juventus, and that is a big factor for the Italian champions considering the iconic Portuguese star is now 35-years-old.
