Ronaldo ‘could genuinely leave’ Juve as agents talk over sensational move

Cristiano Ronaldo “could genuinely leave” Juventus states a report from The Athletic, with claims that the legendary Portuguese star could be returning to a former club this summer.

Agents have apparently talked about the possibility of a return to Manchester United, with Ronaldo having left Old Trafford to Real Madrid in the summer of 2009.

The now 36-year-old was left out of Sunday’s crucial starting XI for Juventus, but the club secured a fourth place finish on the final day – securing qualification to the Champions League.

A big summer awaits, with just a year left on his contract in Turin, Ronaldo could look for one last big move in Europe or stick it out in Italy and hope the club push on for more silverware.

United haven’t been against signing veteran stars in recent years and the success of Zlatan, Larsson and Cavani leading the lines could soon be added with Ronaldo, for what would be a sensational second-coming.
