Real Madrid prepared to try again for Paul Pogba and will offer World Cup winner in deal
Real Madrid can’t be faulted for persistency, if indeed transfer talk is true that the Spanish giants are set to make yet another approach for Paul Pogba in January, with a World Cup winner thrown in to sweeten the deal.
Madrid are prepared to offer Toni Kross, a seasoned German international, that has been there and done it all since moving to Spain in 2014 from Bayern Munich – according to Spanish source El Chiringuito via Sky Sports Transfer Centre.
The 29-year-old now has four Champions League wins to his name, as well as league titles with Madrid and Bayern Munich. Numerous domestic trophies in Germany and Spain have been topped off with the World Cup win with Germany back in 2014.
Manchester United may indeed be interested in the 94-capped German but whether Kroos himself fancies the swap to Old Trafford is another thing altogether, and United haven’t exactly been open to the idea of selling Paul Pogba either.
The fortunes of United until January in the Premier League could very well make things interesting come the next transfer window.
