Viktor Gyökeres has made it clear he’s staying at Sporting CP even though big European clubs want him. The Swedish striker, who’s been playing amazing lately told everyone he wants to stay with the club till season’s done. He went on Twitter and said “I want to finish this season at Sporting, I love it here.” This happened cause lots of big European teams are interested in him cause he’s been playing so good. Since he came to Sporting CP back in July 2023 he’s scored like 66 goals in 68 games which is really important for how good the teams been doing.

Even with all the transfer talk going on Gyökeres talked about how important it is to actually play in games and said there’s other stuff to think about before making any big choices. His contract with Sporting CP goes till June 2028.

Sporting CP President Frederico Varandas knows lots of teams want Gyökeres now cause he’s been playing so amazing that he’s worth about €100 million. Varandas really wants to keep him at least till after January cause he’s super important for the team. The team’s been doing great cause of all his goals including when he scored three times against Manchester City.
