Robert Renan’s possible move to Bahia has hit a big problem as talks have gotten stuck. At first there was going to be an 18-month loan deal but then Wolverhampton Wanderers started showing interest again which messed everything up. The 21-year-old center-back who’s worth about €7.50 million, has gotten lots of clubs interested because he plays really good making this transfer situation really interesting to follow.

  • Talks between Robert Renan and Bahia have gotten stuck.
  • Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in him again.
  • Vitor Pereira knowing Renan from before might affect where he goes.

Renan’s Transfer Standoff

The talks to get Robert Renan to Bahia have gotten stuck. At first everyone was okay with an 18-month loan but everything changed when Wolverhampton Wanderers showed up again which stopped the Bahia deal. Since Renan came back to Zenit St. Petersburg after being at Al-Shabab FC more teams want him now.

Wolverhampton’s Renewed Interest

Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested again mostly because of their manager Vitor Pereira. He really wants to make the team better in the Premier League. He knows Renan from when they were both at Corinthians which makes this whole thing more interesting. When Pereira came to Wolves last season things started changing and since he knows how good Renan is this transfer could be really important.

The Role of Vitor Pereira

Vitor Pereira has really changed things at Wolverhampton. He helped them not get relegated last season and he knows what he wants: he wants the team to play like they’re one of the big ones. You can see he wants players who know how he likes to play by how much he wants Robert Renan. They worked together at Corinthians that’s where Pereira first saw how good Renan was. As the Premier League gets closer everyone’s watching to see if Wolverhampton can get the deal done and get Renan or if Bahia can somehow get their deal going again.
