John Victor has been really good for Botafogo since he came in January 2024, he’s got like 36 clean sheets in 84 games which is pretty impressive. His good playing has got West Ham interested but also teams like Everton Manchester United and Galatasaray are looking at him too.
John Victor’s Career Highlights
John Victor has shown he’s a really good goalkeeper at Botafogo, and before that he did good at Santos Internacional and Real Valladolid. At all these clubs together, he’s got 55 clean sheets which shows how consistent he is. Looking at his whole career you can see why so many teams want him now.
Tactical Fit and Transfer Implications
If John Victor comes to West Ham, he’d fit right in with manager Graham Potter’s way of playing with lots of possession and pressing high. Victor is good at playing as a sweeper and passing the ball which is exactly what Potter likes. But with other teams interested West Ham better move quick if they want to get him.
