West Ham United is going through a big management change after Tim Steidten leaves his job as Technical Director. Steidten, who helped a lot with getting new players and making transfer deals happen is leaving because of fights inside the club and things not working out like they wanted. Even though they spent £150 million buying players last summer the results weren’t good enough which made his job less important until he finally left. This is happening while other changes are going on after Graham Potter became manager to try and fix how the club does things.

While Tim Steidten is leaving Kyle Macaulay who’s good at finding players is coming from Chelsea to help out. Getting Macaulay is supposed to help West Ham get better players that fit with what Graham Potter wants to do with the team. Because he did good work at Chelsea and knows Potter really well people think he’ll bring new ideas about getting players. This change is supposed to help West Ham sign players that work better with how the manager wants to play and make the team do better overall.
