West Ham United under Graham Potter’s management lost 3-2 to Brighton & Hove Albion which made it seven Premier League games without a win now. They got ahead early but West Ham’s defense messed up and let Brighton grab a win late in the game leaving the Hammers stuck down in 17th place in the table.

Graham Potter’s Reaction to the Defeat
Graham Potter was real mad after the game and you could tell in his interview. He knows the fans are angry and talked about how the team needs to play good the whole game not just parts of it. Since he started in January 2025 Potter’s had trouble getting everyone to play together right and his different game plans haven’t really worked like he wanted.

Defensive Challenges and Future Prospects
West Ham keeps having problems at the back letting in 4 goals after the 89th minute in their last three games. This cost them 5 points in the Premier League which shows they gotta concentrate better and defend better. Even with all these problems Potter says he’s gonna fix these issues.

While West Ham tries to move up the table, they gotta work on getting the team to play together better and deal with not having much money to spend. The team’s in a tough spot cause of how bad they defend but Potter thinks his new plans will make things better.
