Preparations and Challenges
Pochettino has been working hard to get the USMNT ready for upcoming games. He just picked 23 players for a training camp before important matches with Korea Republic and Japan which are part of getting ready for the World Cup. Even though they lost 2-0 to South Korea Pochettino still feels good and says they need to be in great shape for the World Cup. He really likes his old player Son Heung-min who just joined LAFC in MLS which shows how international players are making the league better.
Building a Competitive Team
Even though there were some problems at first and stories about issues with USMNT star Christian Pulisic, Pochettino is trying to keep the team happy and working together. He says he still wants to make a team that can play against anyone. Pochettino coming in happens when Major League Soccer (MLS) is getting bigger and better with big players maybe coming like Kevin De Bruyne possibly going to Chicago Fire.
