Son Heung-min is going to start a new chapter as he says goodbye to Tottenham Hotspur with talk going around about him moving to Los Angeles FC. The South Korean star’s exit is going to be huge change for him and the club after everything he’s done there over the years.

  • Son Heung-min might be heading to Los Angeles FC
  • He’s been super important at Tottenham Hotspur since 2015
  • Son’s leaving means big changes for everyone involved

Son’s Time at Tottenham Hotspur

Ever since he came to Tottenham Hotspur in 2015, Son Heung-min has been absolutely massive for the team. In his like 10 years there he played 333 games scored 127 goals and got 71 assists which is pretty crazy when you think about it. He’s definitely going to go down as one of the clubs biggest legends being fifth in all-time goals for Spurs. Last April they made him captain of the team and he helped get them into the UEFA Europa League.

A Really Emotional Goodbye in South Korea

When Son probably played his last game for Spurs it was really emotional especially when he got taken off during the game in South Korea. You could really see how much the fans there love him and have always had his back. It wasn’t just saying bye to the club but like his whole country was there showing how much they care about him and everything he’s done both in football and just in general.

Starting Fresh with Los Angeles FC

People are saying Son’s going to end up at Los Angeles FC and they’re really excited to get him. Even though he’s 33 he’s still got lots of speed and knows how to play the game, which will be great for MLS where lots of big names are going nowadays. Him going to LAFC is going to be different from what he’s used to but shows how MLS is getting better at bringing in really good players. It’s probably going to make the league even more popular and better quality too.
