Erik ten Hag’s time at Man United had good and bad parts. Even though he won two cups his team’s results in the Premier League and Europe weren’t good enough which got him fired. The club made this choice because they started 2024 really badly and were down in 14th place.
Ruud van Nistelrooy who everyone loves from when he played, has to try and fix things. While Man United looks at people who could be manager like Rubén Amorim they’re trying to fix the same problems ten Hag couldn’t solve.

Rubén Amorim looks like he could be Man United’s next manager. He’s really good at tactics and has made teams better by using new formations and changing how they play. At Man United he could bring new ideas especially to help fix the defense problems they’ve had lately.
If he becomes manager players like Amad Diallo could do really well in his 3-4-3 formation which helps teams attack and defend better. While the club deals with all these changes making the defense better is the most important thing for doing well in the future.
