Even though everyone’s excited about the new stadium Manchester United isn’t doing so great right now they’re 12th in the Premier League. The club’s got some problems with money rules too and might get in trouble for it. But Erik ten Hag isn’t worried he’s got this ten-year plan to make United great again. He’s sticking to what he thinks is right even though things are pretty rough at the moment.
Context of Other Premier League Teams with Large Stadiums
When you look at big stadiums and how teams do it’s not just about Manchester United. Other Premier League teams with huge grounds have had different kinds of luck with it. Like Tottenham Hotspur they’ve got this 62,850-seat stadium and they’re doing pretty good in the league. West Ham United’s got the London Stadium that fits 62,500 people and they’ve had some hard times but they’re still in it. Then there’s Arsenal with their Emirates Stadium that holds 60,704 fans and their team is doing really good near the top of the league. This shows you that just having a big stadium doesn’t mean you’ll win everything straight away but it could help you do better later on.
