Manchester United is having another rough patch in what’s been a pretty tough season after Joshua Zirkzee hurt his hamstring and won’t play anymore this season. The Dutch striker being out just adds to the club’s problems, which have been pretty bad lately in terms of how they’ve been playing. Erik ten Hag’s got his work cut out for him now trying to figure out what to do without one of his main guys.

  • Joshua Zirkzee’s gonna be out till season’s done cause of his hamstring.
  • This makes things even worse for Manchester United right now.
  • Erik ten Hag needs to come up with new plans without Zirkzee.

Zirkzee’s Impact on Manchester United

Joshua Zirkzee who came to Manchester United from Bologna in 2024 for like $46.4 million has been really important for the team’s attack. Him being injured is gonna hurt the team’s ability to score goals a lot. When they got him from Bologna everyone thought it was a good move putting him with one of the big Premier League teams.

When he moved from Bologna everyone could see he was getting better and better as a forward and people thought he’d do great things at Manchester United. Losing him now is really bad timing with all the other stuff the team is dealing with.

Squad Management Challenges

The other day Andre Onana didn’t even make the team against Newcastle which shows how ten Hag is trying different things with the team. These choices show how the team is trying to deal with all the problems they’re having this season. Now with Zirkzee hurt too it’s gonna be even harder and they’ll have to change how they play and use different players to try and get through all this.
