Ruben Amorim’s tactics at Manchester United are being looked at closely with Tony Cascarino saying they need a “plan B” to win games. Amorim who came to United in November 2024 is having trouble making his 3-4-3 formation work in the Premier League, losing five out of eight matches. Even though he did good at Sporting CP he’s got to change things up now.

  • People are questioning if Amorim’s tactics are working.
  • Marcus Rashford might leave United, with Saudi teams wanting him.
  • Alejandro Garnacho is doing really good under Amorim.

Amorim’s Tactical Challenges

On The Game podcast Tony Cascarino was worried about how Ruben Amorim is running things at Manchester United. He said they need a “plan B” to win games and said it would be amazing if they could win with how they’re playing now. It’s showing how hard Amorim is finding it to make his formation work in the Premier League

Even though Amorim did really well at Sporting CP winning lots of games, things aren’t going so good at United. He’s lost five games out of eight in the Premier League and people are saying he needs to try different ways of playing.

Player Dynamics and Transfer Speculations

While all this is going on there’s lots happening with the players at Manchester United. Nobody knows if Marcus Rashford will stay since Saudi teams want him after he didn’t play in the Manchester Derby. But Alejandro Garnacho is doing really well in training and looks like he’ll be important for what Amorim wants to do especially since Amorim likes young players.

Supporting Players and Developing Talent

At Manchester United Amorim is trying to help young players get better and help everyone through tough times. He’s been really good with Mason Mount who’s been injured, making sure he gets better properly. Also he’s working with young players like Amad Diallo and Rasmus Højlund to make the team stronger. Amorim was good at this at Sporting CP and wants to do the same at United.
