Pep Guardiola Confident in Manchester City’s Defensive Depth

Pep Guardiola the manager of Manchester City has shared his thoughts about the club’s defense saying “I don’t think we need to buy more central defenders because we have a lot”. This comes after City bought two young defenders back in January 2025 which fits with how Guardiola likes to bring up young players that can work in his system.
