Manchester City is having a rough season and Pep Guardiola is really worried about where the team stands in the Premier League right now. Even though they’re in 1st place, Guardiola says there’s a chance they might not make it to the UEFA Champions League because of how bad they’ve been playing lately. The team’s lost nine of their last twelve games in all competitions which means the next few matches are super important if they want to finish in the top four.

  • Manchester City is in 1st place in the Premier League right now
  • Guardiola says they gotta win their upcoming matches
  • Teams like Nottingham Forest are doing surprisingly well this season

Pep Guardiola’s Big Worries

Pep Guardiola has been pretty honest about how Manchester City might be in trouble in the Premier League. Even though they’re sitting in 1st place the team could miss out on getting into the Champions League. Guardiola talked about how they really need to get points when they play teams like Everton Leicester and West Ham who aren’t doing as good as them.

What Guardiola said lately shows how serious things are. He went and said “Right now we are at the risk of not qualifying for the Champions League… of course we are! Definitely we are” which shows City better step up their game in the matches coming up.

Manchester City’s Tough Season

With Guardiola in charge Manchester City has done really well winning lots of Premier League titles and other trophies. But this season has been really different with players getting hurt and teams like Bournemouth and Aston Villa doing way better than anyone thought they would. Even with all these problems, Guardiola thinks they can turn things around and keep their spot in the Champions League.

Dealing with a Tough Premier League

The Premier League is looking real different this season with old City players doing great at other teams under new managers. This has made it harder to get into those top four spots which means City’s gonna have a tough time getting into the Champions League. As the season keeps going City needs to win their upcoming games to get important points and show everyone they’re still a top team.
