Manchester City is gonna sign Freddie Lawrie, who’s 16 years old from Aston Villa. The young England U16 player who’s really good in midfield, is joining City even though Villa tried real hard to keep him. City wants him cause they trying to make their youth setup better.

Manchester City is gonna get better with getting Freddie Lawrie. The kid who came to Aston Villa from Port Vale back in September 2023 can play both in the middle and at the back for England U16s. By August 2024 he played like 8 times for England. Even though Villa really wanted to keep him and give him a new deal his scholarship ends this summer so he’s going to City.

Freddie Lawrie got noticed real quick in football. He done so good for England U16s that Manchester City really wants him for their youth team. The academy boss Thomas Krucken and Carl Walker who’s in charge of finding young players, they been doing good getting young players better. Even with Hugo Viana being the new sports director, they still looking for good young players.

Aston Villa’s having a hard time cause other teams want their players. They just had to deal with Saudi teams trying to get Emi Martinez and Leon Bailey. Villa trying to keep young players like Lawrie shows they want to be good in the Premier League
