  • Manchester City got smashed 4-0 by Tottenham Hotspur
  • Guardiola thinks the team can still do great this season
  • City is in second place in the Premier League right now

Guardiola’s Commitment to Manchester City

Since he came to Manchester City Pep Guardiola has made the club super strong in English football winning 6 of the last 7 Premier League titles and 15 big trophies including the 2023 UEFA Champions League. The way he makes the team play keeping the ball has really helped the club get better. Even though things aren’t going great now Guardiola really wants to stay at City, he signed up until 2027 cause he thinks the club can bounce back and win more stuff.

One of the big problems for Manchester City right now is they don’t have Rodri playing, who’s kind of like what Messi was to Barcelona that’s what Guardiola says. It’s real hard to keep winning without players like that Guardiola says and it’s even worse cause they’re losing in both England and Europe. They just lost 4-1 to Sporting Lisbon in Champions League which shows how bad things are. Their next game is against Feyenoord in Champions League and they really need to win that one to feel better.

Challenges and Future Prospects

Even with all the bad results, Guardiola still thinks his team is really good. Him signing till 2027 shows he wants to stay and make things work. Not having Rodri has been really bad for them lately and Guardiola knows it’s tough to play good without your best players. The game coming up against Feyenoord is gonna be super important for how the team feels going forward.
