Liverpool is gonna make a big move to their squad by getting Hungarian left-back Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth. The 21-year-old defender will probably join the Reds with a five-year contract after he does his medical check. This move is how Liverpool wants to get younger players in their team.

  • Liverpool and Bournemouth agreed to a £40 million deal for Milos Kerkez
  • Kerkez is gonna do his medical next week before everything’s final
  • The young defender will sign with Liverpool for five years

Liverpool’s Smart Move

Liverpool getting Milos Kerkez is part of what they’re trying to do to get younger players on the team. Kerkez is really good at attacking and should work well with Andrew Robertson in how Liverpool plays. The £40 million deal shows Liverpool really wants to get good young players to make the team better.

Kerkez, who’s played 23 times for Hungary since 2022 is gonna join Liverpool if his medical check goes ok. The Athletic says they’re doing all the paperwork right now to make it happen.

Bournemouth’s Side of Things

For Bournemouth, selling Milos Kerkez means they make a lot of money. Kerkez came to Bournemouth from AZ Alkmaar in July 2023 for like £15.5 million and became really important for them. He scored six goals and helped with two more in 67 games which shows how good he was. Now Bournemouth’s gotta figure out what to do without him.
