Wrexham Holds Leicester to a Draw in Thrilling Championship Clash

In an exciting Championship game at the King Power Stadium Wrexham managed to get a 1-1 draw with Leicester City on September 30, 2025. Even though Leicester had most of the ball, Wrexham’s defense stayed strong and Nathan Broadhead got a really important equalizer in the 77th minute which kept their unbeaten run going.

Leicester City’s Challenges

With Marti Cifuentes in charge Leicester City had most of the ball but they just couldn’t score when they needed to. Jordan James did get a goal for Leicester but they missed too many chances which meant they got their fourth draw in a row. The game really showed how smart Wrexham can play and how Leicester just can’t seem to win even when they control the game.
