Gauci’s Journey from Adelaide to Aston Villa
Joe Gauci, the goalkeeper from Australia, is moving again this time to Port Vale on loan from Aston Villa. Gauci who’s 25 came to Villa from Adelaide United in 2024 and keeps getting better and better. When he was at Barnsley he saved like 66.7% of shots and got 10 clean sheets in the 2024/2025 season which was pretty impressive.
His deal with Villa goes till June 2028, and people think he’s worth about €1.5 million. Gauci has shown he’s pretty solid as a keeper. Going to Port Vale should let him play more games which will help him get even better.
