Arsenal is going to make a big addition to their squad by getting Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon. The 27-year-old forward should help Arsenal’s attacking lineup which has been having problems with injuries. Arsenal finally got Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon cause they really needed a forward. David Ornstein says the deal is going to cost €63.5 million at first but could go up another €10 million if certain things happen.

Gyokeres has been scoring like crazy with 97 goals in 102 games for Sporting Lisbon. Everyone at Arsenal is really excited about him coming especially since they want to do better in the Premier League. The extra money they might have to pay depends on stuff like if he wins the Golden Boot or helps Arsenal win the league.
The Negotiation Process
Getting Gyokeres wasn’t easy and Arsenal had to talk for a long time to make it happen. Sporting Lisbon had a €100 million release clause which made things complicated but Arsenal really wanted to get a really good forward so they kept trying.
Arsenal fans have been waiting forever for this transfer and everyone was talking about it during the team’s preseason tour in Asia. Now that Gyokeres is getting his medical check everyone is super excited to see what he can do.
