Premier League midfielder ‘in talks’ with West Brom as ‘Big Sam’ closes in on key transfer
West Brom boss Sam Allardyce is closing in on his first transfer at the Midlands clubs with a reunion with a former midfielder – both parties are ‘in talks’.
According to the Standard, West Ham’s Robert Snodgrass has opened talks with West Bromwich Albion – the Scottish international is out of contract in east London this summer.
The deal isn’t likely to see a big outlay from WBA and will be a key transfer for Sam Allardyce as he looks to add experience and Premier League know-how to his beleaguered squad.
The 33-year-old has barely played this season for the Hammers, appearing from the substitutes bench just three times in the league.
