Manchester City will reportedly go big this summer in the transfer market, with ambitious moves for two top defenders, according to the Guardian.

Pep Guardiola’s side emerged from a CAS hearing with the news that their Champions League ban is overturned, paving the way for big name arrivals, and an apparent transfer budget up to £150million.

David Alaba, of Bayern Munich, and Kalidou Koulibaly, of Napoli, are two big name defenders who are tipped to join Guardiola’s City side this summer as the blue half of Manchester look to reclaim their crown as champions of England.

City still have the opportunity to end this season with silverware, with the club targeting both FA Cup and Champions League glory – ahead of what looks to be a summer window of evolution.
