Shamar Nicholson going to Club Tijuana, which everyone calls Xolos, is a big change for him. Known for being strong and scoring goals Nicholson signed a long contract with Xolos. Moving to Liga MX which plays really different football shows that Xolos wants to get better in the Mexican league.

He played in the Russian Premier League and was on loan at Clermont Foot in Ligue 1 so he knows a lot about European football. The fact that he can play in different leagues and plays regular for Jamaica shows he can do well anywhere he goes.
