Juárez went ahead and signed Ricardinho who’s a talented Portuguese midfielder for three years. The 24-year-old player came over as a free agent from Santa Clara Portugal and brings a lot of versatility and experience from European leagues which really helps strengthen Juárez’s midfield.
- Ricardinho comes to Juárez without a transfer fee from Santa Clara Portugal.
- They gave him a three-year deal showing they really want him long term.
- His time playing in European football makes Juárez’s team better.
Ricardinho’s Transition to Juárez
When Ricardinho moved to Juárez it was a big change going from European to Mexican football. He was on loan at Maccabi Haifa from FC Viktoria Plzen before but decided to join Juárez without a transfer fee. This is kind of like what we’re seeing more of with players coming to Liga MX just like that other player who went to Chivas Guadalajara.

The way Ricardinho can play different positions which he showed in other leagues, will probably help him do good at Juárez. He can play in the middle or on the sides which gives the team more options in midfield.
Broader Transfer Dynamics
Football is changing a lot these days and teams like Juárez are getting good players like Ricardinho when they can. Money and good leagues play a big part in why Ricardinho chose to come. Him leaving Santa Clara which plays in the Primeira Liga shows how more good players are looking to try something new in different leagues.
European Football Experience
Since Ricardinho played in European football including the Israeli Ligat ha’Al and Czech First League he brings a lot of value to Juárez. His ability to play different positions and experience will really help Juárez make their team stronger for what’s coming up.
