Bashley FC’s forward, Jordan Chiedozie, is in critical condition after a bad car accident. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help with his recovery and medical bills. The accident has hit his club and football community really hard.

Community Rallies Around Chiedozie
Jordan Chiedozie, who plays forward for Bashley FC is fighting for his life after a horrible accident on the M27 motorway. It happened when Chiedozie and the club’s physio, Reighan Taylor stopped to change a tire and got hit by another vehicle. The crash put Chiedozie in an induced coma with real bad injuries. A woman from Berkshire got arrested because of the incident, they think she was driving while drunk.

The local football community led by Bashley FC’s manager David Lewis, is totally shocked. The club’s chairman Steve Lewis, was really upset saying how heartbroken the “Bashley football family” is. The club cancelled their next match against Thatcham Town to help Chiedozie and Taylor. Fans and the club have come together to give support showing how close everyone is in the community.
Support Through GoFundMe
After what happened, someone made a GoFundMe page to help pay for Chiedozie’s medical bills and give him money while he gets better. They want to help with the money stuff so he can just worry about getting better. The page is getting lots of support which shows how much people care about him on and off the field.
