Al Ahli’s Winning Streak
Coming off their big AFC Champions League Elite win Al Ahli wants to keep winning in the Roshn Saudi League. The team just got their first trophy in this competition, beating Kawasaki Frontale from Japan in the final. Players like Roberto Firmino, Galeno and Franck Kessie really helped make this happen. Manager Matthias Jaissle has done a great job leading the team with lots of support from their fans. This win is really good for Saudi Arabian football and helps bring good players to the league.
Roger Ibanez’s Impact
Al Ahli’s Roger Ibanez has been playing really good and got the Roshn Saudi League Player of the Month award for April 2025. He’s been really important for defense and attack scoring 4 goals that month. Ibanez played great in Al Ahli’s important draw with Al Ittihad and helped them win more games after that which got them into the top 4. The way he’s playing shows how good Al Ahli’s season is going as they try to stay up there and maybe win the league.
