Chelsea’s future is looking good as Enzo Maresca sees Cole Palmer and João Félix working really well together. The Italian manager thinks these two players could help the club win big trophies. Even though there isn’t immediate pressure to finish in the top four, Maresca wants to create a strong team spirit at Stamford Bridge.

  • Maresca became Chelsea FC manager in June 2024, and likes his team to keep the ball.
  • Cole Palmer has been amazing scoring 7 goals and getting 5 assists in 11 matches.
  • João Félix came to Chelsea in August 2024, and fits well in Maresca’s game plan.

Cole Palmer’s Impact on Chelsea

Cole Palmer has become super important since Maresca took over. He’s got 7 goals and 5 assists in just 11 Premier League matches which is pretty impressive. Since coming from Manchester City Palmer has scored 29 goals and made 17 assists over four seasons. He’s 189 cm tall and his size plus his skills make him really good at lots of different things in midfield.

When Palmer plays with João Félix they could make Chelsea’s attack even better, which is exactly what Maresca wants with his style of keeping the ball.

João Félix’s Role and Future Prospects

Since he joined Chelsea in August 2024, João Félix has shown he can fit into how Maresca wants to play. Even though he’s only scored once in 5 Premier League games this season Félix is really good at different positions and has skills that Maresca really likes. He did great at Atlético Madrid before, getting 25 goals and 13 assists in 96 league games, so Félix definitely knows how to play at the top level.

Maresca needs to figure out the best way to use Félix with Palmer so they can make lots of goals together and help Chelsea win games.

Strategic Vision for Chelsea’s Future

Enzo Maresca likes his team to keep the ball and play exciting football. He thinks Palmer and Félix playing together is gonna help make the team really strong. Even though nobody expects them to win everything right now Maresca wants to build something special at Stamford Bridge that will last for years.
