England’s national football team got a big 3-0 win over Greece in the UEFA Nations League but the victory got overshadowed by some pretty bad incidents with their fans. The match which was played at the Athens Olympic Stadium showed how good England was playing under temporary coach Lee Carsley. But there were some serious worries about fan safety after reports came out about tear gas and violent treatment of England supporters which made the Football Association (FA) start looking into it.

England really showed what they could do getting a 3-0 win against Greece on November 14, 2024. Temporary coach Lee Carsley got the team playing really good with goals coming from Ollie Watkins an own goal by Odisseas Vlachodimos and Curtis Jones scored near the end. What got people talking was that Harry Kane wasn’t playing which got people wondering but it ended up working out good. Carsley made some brave choices like not playing Kane because he wanted to see what some of the newer players could do while the teams changing things up.
