Cristiano Ronaldo is thinking about retirement while trying to reach an amazing milestone of 1,000 career goals. The football star who’s currently playing for Al Nassr, is still really important in the sport and his role in the Portuguese national team shows how much influence he still has.

Ronaldo’s Retirement Considerations

Cristiano Ronaldo one of football’s biggest stars ever has been talking about when he might retire. According to what journalist Fabrizio Romano reported Ronaldo said he wants to keep playing while he still feels like it. Getting close to 40 he said he might retire in like one or two years but right now he just wants to enjoy playing.


Playing at Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League now Ronaldo used to play at big clubs like Sporting CP Manchester United Real Madrid and Juventus. With 899 goals already he really wants to get to 1,000 goals.

Ronaldo’s career shows how talented and dedicated he is. When he played at clubs like Manchester United and Real Madrid he broke lots of records including the biggest transfer fee ever in 2009. He did amazing things with Portugal too winning UEFA Euro 2016 and the 2019 UEFA Nations League.

When he went to Al Nassr it made the Saudi Pro League more popular kinda like what happened when other big players moved to different leagues like when Lionel Messi went to Major League Soccer.

Even though he’s talking about retiring, Ronaldo still really wants to compete. He really wants to get to 1,000 career goals and that’s what keeps him going. As he gets closer to finishing his career Ronaldo just wants to enjoy playing and stay motivated.
