Cheltenham Town FC had like a crazy change in how the game went when they lost their 3-1 lead ending up with a 3-3 draw against Swindon Town. Everything changed when Tom Bradbury got a red card for Cheltenham which let Swindon come back into it. The game had 8,556 people watching and now Cheltenham’s gotta play MK Dons next.
- Cheltenham was winning 3-1 but then Swindon came back.
- Tom Bradbury getting sent off really messed things up for them.
- It ended up 3-3 and the Cheltenham manager wasn’t happy about it.
The Game-Changing Red Card
So this game between Cheltenham Town FC and Swindon Town on March 15, 2025 was like super intense in League Two. Jordan Thomas got Cheltenham going with a goal after just 8 minutes. But then Will Wright got one back for Swindon with this free kick right before half time. After that Cheltenham scored twice, first Tim Dieng got his first ever goal for the team and then Will Wright accidentally scored in his own net making it 3-1 to Cheltenham.
But then everything went wrong when Tom Bradbury got another yellow card for fouling Harry Smith and got sent off. That gave Swindon a penalty which Kabonga Tshimanga scored to make it 3-2. With Cheltenham only having 10 players left Swindon took advantage and Ollie Clarke scored in the 88th minute to make it 3-3. Michael Flynn the Cheltenham manager was real upset they didn’t get all three points.
RT @mayhem357_mark: @GabSutton @EFL 3 points needlessly thrown away by #ctfc in a game we dominated until the red card. Still in disbelief,…
