Bradford City is having an amazing comeback and looking really good for moving up to League One. David Sharpe and Graham Alexander have really changed things around with smart player picks and being able to change when needed which has helped them do so well.

  • David Sharpe got the job as head of football operations in April 2024.
  • Graham Alexander started managing in October 2023.
  • Together they’ve made the team play better and got fans more excited.

Leadership and Strategic Recruitment

When David Sharpe came in it was like a new beginning for Bradford City. As head of football operations he’s really changed how things work at the club. All his experience from working at Wigan Athletic and Mansfield Town has been really helpful bringing in ideas about football that everyone likes. Since he’s been there the team’s doing better and fans are happier too.

When Graham Alexander became manager the team got way better. He’s really good with tactics and started using three defenders at the back which made the defense really strong and they won 10 home games in a row which never happened before. He did really good at Fleetwood Town and Salford City getting them promoted and now he’s doing the same stuff at Bradford.

Impact on Team Performance

Alexander is really good at getting players to do their best even when things get tough like when Andy Cook got injured. The way he picks players mixing experienced ones who’ve won promotion before with young talented ones has worked really well. Him and Sharpe working together has made Bradford City look really good for getting promoted.

Future Prospects and Fan Engagement

Bradford City getting better shows what good leadership and being able to change can do. People who know football can see how much better they are and fans are loving it more than ever. As they keep playing everyone’s gonna be watching Valley Parade to see if they can finish the season really good.
