Birmingham City has hit a huge milestone by breaking the EFL points record after beating Blackpool 2-0. They got to 108 points which is more than Reading’s old record of 106 points from 2005/06. Since starting in June 2024 Chris Davies has totally changed Birmingham City and helped them break records. He’s super good with tactics and knows how to get the players motivated which is why the team won 40 out of 56 games, and he got named League One Manager of the Season. Davies likes using 4-2-3-1 and has made the team really strong together which helped them get to the Championship and break the EFL record.

Amazing Players and Team Work
Players like Seung-Ho Baek have been really important for Birmingham City’s amazing season. Baek is good at leading and can play both attack and defense which makes him super valuable. The team has been so good winning 33 games drawing 9 and only losing 3, plus they scored 80 goals! The way the team is managed and how good the players are has made them better than any other EFL team ever.
What’s Next
Birmingham City has done something really special because they planned everything really well and played amazing all season. Now they’re getting ready for the Championship and want to keep being just as good. Chris Davies has done an amazing job leading the team and Birmingham City looks like they’ll keep doing great things.
