Mendy’s Career Journey and Recent Transfer
Benjamin Mendy who’s known for running fast and defending well has officially joined FC Zurich. His career has had real high points and some real low points too. He started at Le Havre then went to clubs like Marseille and AS Monaco where he got the Ligue 1 title in the 2016-2017 season.
In 2017 Mendy went to Manchester City for £52 million which was like the most ever for a defender and he won three Premier League titles there. But he got hurt a lot and had legal stuff happen which messed up his time at City. After leaving Manchester City he went to Lorient but didn’t play any games this season so now he’s at FC Zurich.

The Legal Challenges and Their Impact
Mendy’s career got real complicated with legal stuff when he was at Manchester City. Even though he was found not guilty of assault charges these problems hurt his reputation and made it hard to get playing time. Going to FC Zurich gives him a chance to start over and maybe get back to playing good football again.
